Windows Lag & Apps Load Slowly

Hi!

I would like to seek some advice... I recently bought an ultrabook with Windows 8.1. It hasn't even been a month yet but it seems like the system is getting more and more laggy. Moreover, apps such as the Music App keeps crashing, or takes several minutes to open.

I tried a solution from some other forums which is to download the Apps Diagnostic tool from Microsoft, but it keeps telling me that:
a) Windows store cache and licenses may be corrupt - I reset it but the Store app also takes forever to load and doesn't seem to do anything;
b) Display adapter drivers might be out of date - hardware changes might not have been detected "detected" -but not "fixed";
c) The diagnostic tool claims that the troubleshooter has made some changes to my system, but the issues of "Windows store configuration might be damaged" and "Device drivers might be out of date" are only detected but not fixed. The issues it claims to have fixed are "Service registration is missing or corrupt" and "Windows Store cache may be damaged"

But the computer remains laggy and appears to be getting worse...

Would appreciate any help on this please, thanks! My comp's specs are as follows:
