Herro all...

I have a dell inspiron one 2330, touch screen mint computer. However i have updated it today via WiFi hub and after restart it will not start my wifi or any other network controllers for that matter. I have tried Ethernet cable however that didn't work. If i go on "open network and sharing centre" it shows no networking devices (which usually you can enable and disable from that screen).

I have also tried installing a usb wifi adapter however that didnt work, i think that was due to the device being out of date but unsure.

I have tried doing a system restore, however it comes up with the following:

There was an unexpected error in the property page:
The Volume Shadow Copy service used by System Restore is not working. For more information view the event log. (0x81000202)
Please close the property page and try again.

I have noticed a few things wrong such as installations don't fully finish so they become corrupted and Sysinfo.exe is one of the examples. Just comes up with processor, ram etc but no actual details just a list of nothing.

I have also tried re-installing drivers and that hasn't worked. I have tried doing a virus scan with AVG but will not complete! Just starts and instantly fails.

Im a bit out of ideas, Im pretty sure it had something to do with the windows update but could be a virus. Baring in mind iv only been on it for 2 days. Its not brand new but the wifi and that was working fine before the update.

If you need any more info just ask : ) thanx in advance peeps
