I moved from XP - Office 2000 to Windows 8, and wish I hadn't. Being a believer that progress is supposed to make your tasks simpler and easier, I neither need nor want to deal with the hundreds of settings it takes to make Word 8 usable. I'm sure there's a way to get out of it and back to something less demanding, but I don't know how to get there. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!
