Windows 8| Wifi wont work

I have a windows 8 computer and I have been having problems connecting to the internet. I have been searching for ways to fix the problem but I have not been able to find any solution. Basicly what is happening is I connect to the wifi and it says I am connected, after that I try to open google but it does not work it says that I am not connected to the internet. Also something weird is I can connect to skype fine, I can log in and talk to my friends and so on.
(I have tried doing ipconfig /release and stuff like that)
Please help me fix this problem
