Here's the thing, got a laptop here with Windows 8, 64 bit, 2.50 GHz.. The trial version of Norton expired, so I removed it from the computer in the control panel's add/remove section.. Restarted, checked to make sure it was gone, then tried three times to download internet security from my internet service provider. During the install the first two times I got a message saying there was a conflict, don't say with what, then it will continue. When all done I get a message saying that the install failed.. OK, so for the third time, I go to control panel, uninstall, restart computer, check to make sure it uninstalled.. This time I disable the firewall, just in case that was conflicting, reinstalled, same thing again... Does anyone know what could be causing the conflict, your help will be much appreciated. Thank you.
