I would be deeply grateful for any help with this. I've been at it for days and can get no where.
The following is my computer information. HOWEVER, I just loaded Windows 8 32 Bit which loaded perfectly EXCEPT I now have no internet connection as the device manager indicates that there is no Ethernet driver.
With the previous win xp pro, I had no such proble and I was able to solve this problem by installing Nvidia Nforce which comes with ethernet support for my cable connection via Time Warner my internet service supplier.
This nforce installation results in win 8 saying there is no correct ethernet driver after doing a search with each driver I download from every concievable source. Can anyone help me with this. There is nothing whatsoever wrong with anything else on my computer. In fact when I had a previous problem and went to a computer repairman and asked them to install win 8 while they were at it. The did so with ethernet and all. No problem. At this point it's Magic to me! Thank you for any help you can offer.
