I have written about this problem in many forums - also contacted Microsoft. No-one can help !! I'm not the only one I know. Whenever I switch off win 8 and restart ie every day I have to reset the option Internet Options - connections - lan settings - proxy server - and clear the tick box. I have tried everything apart from reinstalling windows !!! can you believe. This has got to be a win 8 problem and has to have a solution - has anyone found it yet ??? Its driving me mad . It is not a virus , it is not a startup program , its not anything I can find Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
