Redesignation of System partion

I want to remove the system partition. This has another version of win 8 installed and is labelled x drive, it is on the same HDD as C drive which is obviously my current win 8 boot up partition. This is not a dual boot system. How do I make C drive the System partition? Can I copy the boot folder from x to C? and the root directory from x to C. Any help much appreciated.
I am using ACER PC M5910
I have read previous postings but all refer to dual boot systems.
