Windows 8 AMD Radeon compatibility

I recently installed Windows 8 on my HP dv6t-6100 Quad- Edition and noticed last night that my AMD Radeon HD 6700M Series isn't working properly. I opened device manager and it reads "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" I tried to wrestle the problem out last night, I went to HP to see if they had any drivers for it to find they only support Windows 7 with my laptop, tried AMD and tried to see if Windows can fix it. On a side note Windows keeps telling me it needs to install .NET Framework 3.5 (happened various times while trying to download compatible drivers for my graphics card) and every time I try to, the installation fails.

Any ideas?
