I'm getting the blue screen of death. Endless startup repair fails. I'm running win8.1 64 bit. It won't do a system restore nor boot into Safe mode, any help would be appreciated, obviously I would prefer to keep everything intact but if I have to do a reset I guess it's not that bad as long as it works again. But I would definantly appreciate being able to save some files from my hard drive if there's any way possible. I remember last night I went to shut it off a d before it finished I accidently flipped the surge protector off switch. Then When I started my computer back up it was a frozen screen of what it was when it shut down. So I just held the button to shut it down and when I turned back on, bsod.
