I have a windows login password that I remember
I am the Administrator on my computer. I have not been required to provide an Administrator password for a long time and don't remember if I ever had one. What I'm wondering is if my mind is playing tricks on me and Windows 8.1 does not require an Administrator password when one arrives at an action that changes things deep down in the Windows application. .
I've tried to use WindowsPasswordRecoveryTool-Ultimate to see how many and what kind of passwords were on my computer for my Local account and my wife's Microsoft associated account, but ran into a problem when trying to recover the password for my wife's Microsoft associated account. Apparently, I need to purchase a different WPR tool. My wife doesn't need this, so I just quit working on it.
I just don't know what's going on with passwords and need some help. Thank You.
