First time on, so please be gentle.
I have a new cpu (my 15 yr old xp took a mighty dump with it's discontinued support)
the problem I am having is that last night when I went to bed all worked fine with FB. I woke up this morning, only to keep seeing connection denied. (FB is an https) I can go to gmail, and any other site out there that is https sites, but FB is the only one that is doing this.
Has anybody else ran into this? if so, how did you correct it?
This new cpu has all kinds of McAfee, and I have Webroot Secure Anti-virus (came with the cpu free). I have tired to include them in permitted areas in the Firewalls etc, I have read about checking to make sure Chrome is not using proxy settings, but nothing seems to work. I have IE8 and Chrome on here, and they have worked fine until this morning.
