Task Bar Icon Not Loading

Recently, whenever I open a PDF in the free version of Adobe Acrobat the icon in the task bar is blank (see image below).


I have uninstalled and reinstalled, checked for updates, and nothing seems to fix it.

How can I get the icon back?
