Loading Saved Documents & folders from my XP Comp. to Windows 8.1 on New Comp.

I loaded all my documents and folders from "My Documents" on my old computer (XP) and when I went to load them on my new system (8.1) only about 8 were included on the memory sticks. I used 2 sticks and assured that all the documents were loaded in full.


Any suggestions or ideas.
