One Drive worked, but now only by Browser

A few weeks ago I setup a new x64 computer with Windows Pro 8.1 and a Microsoft account that I use on other Win 8.1 pc. I know One Drive was initially working cuz I used it to transfer some files between computers. It was not in the tray bar and I did not pay attention to it lately until I needed to transfer a file again between computers.

IT now has a yellow triangle in the Navigation pane with an exclamation point in it and it wants me to verify (login) again.

I have not changed passwords for awhile. The C:\users\MINE\OneDrive shows in Explorer with all the old files with X's on their icons except the 2 files I transfered using OneDrive to this pc.

When I go to Metro settings for One Drive and try to verify using the same live account and password I'm now using to successfully get logged into this pc it will not take it and just asks to verify again.

Also, I can log into my live.com account One Drive and use it through the browser on this pc. I can use it both by Explorer and Browser on my other computer. Weird.

Some time between initially setting up this pc and now I had it the computer named OLDER and changed it to NEWER and think this might have something to do with all of this.
