Accessing apps on other drives?

so i've just upgraded from w7 to w8 (please hold you judgements, i like it :p )

I have 4 hard drives, 2 of them still have my applications from w7. i had to do a fresh install, had some errors, but i would like to be able to open the old programs still on the other drives. i know the dll files will have been wiped, but is there any tool to scan for the ones i need again, and other files, to allow me to not have to reinstall a huge number of things, most of which i do not have the disks at uni for?
