Relevant Computer Specs:
This is a PC not a Laptop, and I always have my HDMI connection connected
Processor - AMD A8-5500
Graphics - Amd Radeon hd 5700 Series
OS - Windows 8.1 64 bit
After a windows update this morning (not the update from 8 to 8.1) I no longer have an HDMI playback device listed in my sound options. I have since updated both my Graphics card drivers and my processor drivers, my realtec driver, and downloaded an Auto-detect driver updater from AMD just to make sure. When that didn't work I uninstalled my audio driver in my device manager, rebooted my computer, let the computer re-install the audio driver, and still nothing. All I show as playback devices are Speakers, Headphones, and 2 Digital Audio (S/PDIF). I have show connected and disconnected both checked at this screen. Any suggestions, I am really at my wits end with this? This did happen to me after I updated from 8 to 8.1 but re-installing drivers fixed the issue, but that is not working this time.
