I'm about to setup a PC for a user
its brandnew and not yet been opened
The spec is very high and has a 250GB SSD drive and a 3TB harddrive - and will have windows 8
I would like to set-it up so that the User account is on this 2nd 3TB drive - making default mydocs, music, pictures etc automatically goto the 2nd drive - so its all transparent to the user
I have done this on Vista and it was very very easy to move the users to a D: drive partition
BUT windows 8 appears to be a bit more complicated
I have read about on 1st install using the Audit Mode - which appears quite involved , running a script and also it requires that you have a copy of windows 8 on DVD - I dont know what version nor will the PC come with any installation media
