BSOD. System Thread Not Handled (atikmdag.sys) Feb 2015

Hi! I have a similar problem to that described in the previous thread, and I'm also reluctant to mess about with things too much! (System Info follows at the end...)

The story so far:

7 days ago, I had a blank screen shortly after installing and using Driver Booster 2.

I refreshed my laptop (Toshiba Satellite), installed about 15 MS security updates and shortly after got the BSOD for the first time and Windows re-started - about 4 times in 30 mins...

I then located and removed the Radeon HD 8330 driver. This obviously adversely affected the display (not good!) so I restored it.

Everything then ran fine and fast for 3 days (about 12 hours use) until yesterday when the BSOD reappeared and Windows re-started - about 4 times in 30 mins, just like before...

All OK so far today - but any help you can provide to kill the issue off would be really appreciated!
