So, I was trying to help my grandpa with his lenovo all in one tablet. When he tries to open the browser he gets a
"The Diagnostics Policy Service Is Not Running In Windows 8"
error.
Easy fix right? So wrong.
He can't open Command Prompt as an admin, it sits on a white screen then says "Error opening program, because it didn't open in a timely fashion" or something along the lines. I couldn't get the hidden admin account open due to System Error 5. I couldn't do a system restore point, because it requires admin, which wont allow anything to open. After a hour of fiddling with the thing, I gave up and decided to do some research.
Any ideas?
