Hello everyone, I am trying to fix my friends HP Envy M6 notebook. he upgraded it to 8.1 and now when the computers starts up the desktop loads but then the screen starts to flash between a black screen and a empty desktop. he has a lot of files and software that he can't afford to lose so I really don't want to do a PC Repair if I don't have to. I'm guessing it has to do something with the video driver. I have tried booting into safe mode but it does the same thing in that. Can anyone offer any assistance here?? Thanks in advance for everyone's help!!!
