Sometimes after I wake my laptop from sleep and click on my profile, it just goes to a blue screen and I cannot enter my password. The mouse is still there but the everything else is missing. When I use my keyboard controls I can get the volume and brightness settings to show up on the screen. If I close my laptop to put it to sleep, the screen goes black but I can still hear the computer running. My laptop also has a back lit keyboard and I can turn it on and off during this time too.
I've tried waiting after closing my laptop but it does not go back to sleep. If I wait at the blue screen, it will go back to the default lock screen with the clock. At the blue screen I've also managed to pull up the Shutdown/Restart in the bottom right once, the Language (settings where the ENG is) by clicking in the general area, and another time I pulled out the Network Settings from the right.
After the first three times, I started keeping track of when it happens. The first time this happened was in September when my laptop was about three months old, 1/2 times more, then November 29, December 7, 11, and 12 (today).
I've attached two pictures, the blue log in screen without anything and the regular log in screen showing where the ENG and power button is.
