Hi all,
I recently had an issue with my new Razer Blade Pro machine; this is what happened (as I'm unable to access my machine, I have specs as per my invoice).
I've had this machine for a few weeks and I keep it fairly up to date, i.e. Windows updates, video card drivers, etc. One night, I was using this as per normal and I was moving from my dining room to my bedroom. I did not shut down, I just closed my lid and moved it to my bedroom. When I opened the lid, I saw a blue screen of death, relating to the System Service Exception. Then it restarted.
I didn't think this was a major problem, but when it restarted again, it arrived at the same BSOD, disabling me from actually getting into my Windows 8 OS. I tried using the advanced start up options, but the only thing that appeared to work was to boot in safe mode, which I did. I then looked up the symptoms of my BSOD and discovered that many users also experienced similar or the same issue. Anyway, because I was not having any luck whatsoever in trying to resolve this issue, I decided to manually back up my data and do a factory setting system restore. Backed up to my external HD, no problem. Restarted, went to the Razer system restore facility and proceeded to reset my machine.
When that completed, it provided a count down to restart and boot up for the first time again. However, upon booting up, I arrived at the same BSOD; System Service Exception. As such, I am unable to do the first time start up for Windows. I cannot even boot in safe mode, so it appears I am stuck in this infinite loop.
I would appreciate any assistance whatsoever because I spent a lot of money on this machine and, with the exception of experiencing multiple issues with Windows 8, I have been very happy with my machine but this issue has effectively rendered my machine a brick.
