Alright so during some messing around with my computer trying to fix my 3.5mm jacks on the front of my case I accidentally removed my sound drivers. I tried to re-install them but I have never played with drivers before and had no clue where to start so instead I figured a system refresh would help me out. Now if I knew this system refresh was going to delete ALL my games, a majority of my personal files, and everything on my desktop I probably would have gone through the trouble of re-installing all my sound drivers! So I went through with the refresh and am surprised to see a default desktop when I log into my pc with the only non default thing being a list of over 100 items that windows deleted during refresh! I understand that during this refresh it sets aside your personal files and replaces them but in my case it seems it set them aside and then wiped them! I already looked in my Windows 8 OS root file and turned on hidden files and what not, but there is no sign of it anywhere! I tried everything and I am really desperate. I had a lot of sentimental files I lost and would appreciate any help I can get!
