I just got a full version of windows 8.1 in the mail and it wouldnt install. They said at microsoft it would instal and my computer was compatiable. Right now I have problems with the time changing on the computer, it may be a batery on the mother board. And when I start the computer I have to push the f1 to get it started. I am running windows xp and microsoft has outlawed because I brought it from a computer repair company and duplicate. And I have the microsoft security tags with the star show up all the time. I want to delete all of windows xp and put windows 8.1 on. They gave me a phone number to call for windows xp at microsoft. what should I do? I dont have a windows xp boot disk.
