Scanner Help windows 8.1

My scanner in the link below worked fine with windows 8 but now it wont load with my windows 8.1 upgrade. The drivers keep failing no matter what I do and going back to windows 8 itself is a no go now without a complete reinstall. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
