I've come looking for help deciphering which copy of windows 8 or 8.1 I need to buy to install on a new build that currently has no OS.
At the moment I'm looking to buy the Windows 8 OEM and upgrade to 8.1 after the initial install, but the retailers selling the OEM versions specifically state that OEM products are not for install by consumers. Is this just to protect novices from buying the wrong version?
Version that I am currently planning to buy: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-Wi...ords=Windows+8
Is there any reason why I should be going for this one instead besides having to download the 8.1 update from the windows store?:

Any help greatly appreciated, thanks!
