As I am typing it is having a breakdown.
I had Windows 7 yesterday and for the past two months it has been driving me crazy. Any time I would open a file it would start hiccuping. It would put up a message "Windows Explorer needs to restart." Then it would restart again. I would be able to use the internet but all the software programs would be inaccessible.
I figured I might have deleted something vital. I couldn't figure it out...I figured I'd so something smart--which seems to have exacerbated the situation. I downloaded Windows 8 VL. I really like it and wanted to use it (I know not everyone is a fan). Now it is continously shutting off and on. At least after a while of hiccuping it would stop. Now it won't. It started up mainly when I wanted to use a program on the desk top.
Rather than say Windows explorer is shutting down, it continously restarts between the Windows 8 page and the desktop in a loop.
I seriously need help. I have an Asus N53S, 64-bit . Currently using Windows 8.
