I downloaded wubi from ubuntu site and what happens is that the small screen shows up showing what harddrive you want to put it in and to choose your password and so on and after that its starts downloading the files for ubuntu and then when thats finished it says reboot now or to do it manually later, when I reboot a black screen comes up I've attached a picture with this thread as to what comes up when i try to boot with ubuntu.
