Today, we bought my mother an HP Windows 8 G-Series Laptop. I have been trying (unsuccessfully) for hours to connect it to her wi-fi. If I use an ethernet cable, it will connect, however, we need it to be connected to the wireless. I have very limited experience with setting up wireless (Apparently, knowing how to navigate the internet somehow makes me a tech person >> Don't even get me started on this insanity lol) so I may need a little bit of help even with fairly simple terms.
When I run a network troubleshoot, it tells me that there were no issues detected, despite the fact that there very obviously is an issue.
The wi-fi works on every other device we have used (Computers, phones, e-readers, etc) but it appears that only this computer is having an issue.
