Ok here is the deal. I had to hard shut down my pc because it wouldn't shut down properly. When I started it up again it decided that it needed to run a disk check. (VMWare workstation was running when I tried to shut down the machine, I canceled the shutdown so I could shutdown the virtual machines and vmware locked up. So I hard reset the machine with the power button. This somehow damaged my boot record I think.)
So I installed win 8 on another harddrive and now I cannot access the original drive that has all my stuff on it.
I could not restore or reset windows 8
This is the error.
D:\ is not accessible.
Access is denied.
Or if someone could tell me how to fix my original OS that would be great.
