Quick question:
Is there any obstacle to transferring user account (personal data) from Vista to Windows 8?
Had a PC brought in, power surge killed the PSU and motherboard. Hard drive was fine, explained to client that data was salvageable, client said they would go ahead and shop for a notebook. Copied user account and personal data to USB flash drive. Was in the middle of copying to flash when client walked in with a new PC in the box, HP Pavilion (like the old one) preloaded with Windows 8. Now I must admit I have not worked on windows 8 much. If all the old data is 64 bit there shouldn't be a problem? What about 32 bit files?
Thanks in advance.
