Solved: How do I move/copy games from home screen to desktop?

I like to play games like solitaire at the same time as watching a video on youtube and I prefer to do it from the desktop.

How can I put a shortcut of the game on the start screen onto the desktop. I tried dragging, I tried to copy with right click from the game icon itself (there is no option to move to desktop), I tried a number of ways and have had no success. :confused:
