Browser query please

I have just bought a computer with Windows 8. It has IE10 and Chrome installed

I have backed up the IE Favourites and Chrome bookmarks.

The IE Favourites are in a Star folder and the Chrome bookmarks is just a file.

Could someone please tell me where to put the old IE8 Favourites folder and Chrome Bookmarks file in Windows 8 so that when I open my browsers all my favourites/bookmarks will be there?
