Outlook 2003 SMPT error
I installed Windows 8 about two weeks ago (upgraded from XP Pro) and I've been various problems ever since. My latest debacle is with Outlook 2003 which was working fine until 2 days ago. Now I am receiving a "Cannot communicate with your outgoing mail server" message and my outgoing emails remain in my inbox. I have verified my (Google) SMTP settings of 995 and 465 with authentication. Of course I can still go to my email provider's web site for my mail but that's a pain and Outlook worked great before Windows 8. Has anyone else had this problem? Has anyone found a solution for this problem?
