hello guys
I went to buy a laptop HP as the below spec and faced a serious trouble:
HP DV4-5206TX
CPU: intel core i7-3630QM (2.4GHz, 6MB L3 Cache)
RAM: 4 GB DDR3 Bus 1600 (4GBx1)
Graphic: Nvidia Geforce GT630 2 GB
HDD: 1000 GB S-ATAll 7200 RPM
Disply: 14' HD LED disply (1366x768)
OS: Dos / Windows8 genuine.
providing the above details to give clear idea about the whole issue,
when they installed the OS (windows8) which comes with the machine from HP, I checked the drive partation and saw the C drive has 950 GB, the D drive has a back up file for re-install, and the technicien in the shop told me is not possible to adjust the partation size, I asked him to creat a third virtual drive to allocate more space from the C where I can keep my files in save in case any future formatting, and this is actually the obstacle that faced me and I decided to cancel my purchase,
in case anyone experienced the same issue or found a solution to this part to share it with me,
I still confused how come HP to creat a such restriction property and allocate all the space of 1 TB at the C driver and deprive the users to allocate it at their preferences,
I will appreciate of any solution, I would like to buy this one, as I was looking for HP elitebook 8470w but still not available yet in the market here,
thanks a lot,
