Hi guys,
My mouse for my laptop stopped working so I borrowed my girlfriend's. It went through the normal driver installation business and asked me to reboot to finish it. I did, and now neither the new mouse, my laptop's trackpad, my keyboard or an entirely different mouse work within Windows -- everything works fine in the BIOS and in Windows' recovery mode. I did a system restore which did nothing, I got it to boot into safe mode and couldn't use my keyboard to log in, I can't seem to get into Ubuntu, and I know that plugging in a mouse shouldn't make a computer completely unusable. Any ideas?
This is on Windows 8.1 by the way.
Thank you!
