printfilterpipelinesvc.exe causing problem

While trying to clear the print queue, I followed the usual procedures to shut down the spooler, but when I tried to delete the files, I was told that a file couldn't be erased because it was open in printfilterpipelinesvc.exe. This is first time I have encountered this and can't find any information on closing the file or finding the .exe file.


Any help would be appreciated,
