Why I have too many recovery partitions on my Windows 8.1 laptop?

As you will from the attachment, I have too many recovery partitions and I do not know why. Beside that, the D partition is too big and I do not how this partition was created. Could anybody explain me why I have several recovery partitions? Could I deleted them? How? Why the D partition is too big?
