Hi!
I purchased Windows 8 Pro which comes with both a 32 and a 64 bit disc. I've been using the 32 bit version for about two years and recently decided to do a clean install of the 64 bit version which my system can run to see if it works any better than the 32 bit version.
Processor: 2.60 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core with 4 Gigs of Ram. Never had any problem loading 32 version from disk. When I attempted to load the 64 bit version (Clean Install) for the first time, the Microsoft logo appeared normally on the screen, but when the installation start page came up the text was distorted to the point of being unreadable and the mouse behaved wildly when moved, leaving multiple trails, and pointers all over the screen. I could go no further. I tried twice with the same results. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how I can fix this? I would be grateful for any help. Thank You!!
