I can use some help with my apps in windows 8.1. Manny of the programs I use are not displayed in my app menu. If I search for f.e. Word, the system cannot find it. But I can open .doc files and then use the installed word program and pin it to my desktop. This problem applies to almost every program, except for chrome apps and windows store downloaded apps.
These programs are also not displayed in the programs overview (the menu where you can uninstall programs). I can't trace back what triggered this problem, but it's very annoying. And so far the internet has not anwsered, you are my only hope!
