Hi, i have spent days trying to find out why my bluetooth stopped working. i cleaned my laptop, (some of them remove certain files, much to my annoyance) and have been on the microsoft site (amoung many others) and it says :
Bluetooth not working in Windows
1] Update your Bluetooth drivers. This in most cases, helps resolve the issue.
2] For Bluetooth to work, the Bluetooth, Bluetooth Device Monitor, Bluetooth OBEX Service and the Bluetooth Support Services have to be running properly, so check if they are started and running. To do so, Run services.msc. to open the Services Manager. Check if they are set to Automatic (delayed) and if the Service is started and running. If not click on the Start Service button to start the service. See if this helps.
i have updated windows and drivers. i can not put the OBEX file on, as now it is MISSING!
All i want to do, is down load the missing file. QUALCOMM ATHEROS BLUETOOTH SUITE (64)(64x) or FILE OBEX
i am windows 8 with 8.1 update.
please help me. my bluetooth will not search or look for or work !!!!!
