sdstor.inf file how can I tell which files it's directing to?

Hello Members

I am by no means knowledgeable in programming, or windows operating files, so your patience would be appreciated.

I have a bootable recovery USB drive with the software EaseUS To-do backup on it, it uses the WinPE environment.

I have read posts on the EaseUS forum regarding integrating drivers into it, but I don't understand the process, and can't follow the instructions so I'm not going to pursue this method.

My problem is that in order for my EaseUS recovery USB boot drive to see my microSD card reader drive, I need to choose a file called 'sdstor.inf' the problem is this file is in the C:\Windows system folder, in the 'inf' folder.

I know that a .inf file is a text file, but is there a way to understand what files it's pointing to or what instructions it is making, so that I can copy the relivant files it needs onto my USB drive.

Or, by just copying the sdstor.inf over onto my EaseUS WinPE recovery USB drive mean it will still work without having to see a Windows folder on my C: Drive, and instruct whatever files it needs to then see and access my microSD card reader drive.

Any advice would be great, cheers

Regards
