My Win 8 system was running smoothly till last evening when it refused to shut down though there was no error.
I then logged out just to see if it would then shut down.
I had 2 users defined in the system. It still wouldn't shut down so I shut it down using the physical power button.
Now, when I turn it on, it displays the first screen but does not show any users so I am unable to select one to login. There is a message at the bottom right which says I should select a user to login and update the system.
Can anyone help?
I also tried accessing Boot options using F12 while booting up but the key does not seem to be recognised.
