Windows 8.1 Touchscreen problems

Hi.

I have an all-in-one NON-touchscreen PC.

I have an external touchscreen monitor.

The Non-touchscreen all-in-one is set as the primary monitor.

The touchscreen was working perfectly yesterday, however during use windows did a load of updates, so when I booted today, it had to complete update installations before I got my desktop back.

When I did, I noticed that my touch screen events (by touching the touch screen monitor) were controlling the primary (all in one) monitor.

I know the usual fix for this is to run the 'Setup' in Tablet PC Settings from the control panel.

This here is the problem.

For some weird reason, it says my all-in-one screen is fully touch capable, and my touchscreen is not.

So even when I run through the setup again, and hit enter on my primary screen and touch the touchscreen when the prompt is on that screen. It still sends all touch events to the primary screen.

I've uninstalled all the updates from last night, and then rebooted, and tried again - still having the same problem.

So I've uninstalled the touch screen USB HID driver, rebooted and installed it again (from windows as it doesn't have a proprietary driver) and it's STILL thinking the built in screen is a touch screen.

I've unplugged the external monitor and plugged in again - still nothing.

Can anyone please help me? I have no idea what happened between last night and today, I know a lot of nooby users say that, but I can promise, in this case, I'm not a noob and I haven't been fiddling with anything.

Thanks
