My 85 year old Mother in Law has forgotten her password to login into her local account on her MS Windows computer. The email address she used is no longer active as she used to have comcast (used a local comcast email to login) as she moved to an assisted living. None of the security info is correct because her phone and email have both changed. The next step to recover password is to fill out a form that ask for alot of info that she doesn't remember! She never used email on the computer - just for word processing. So at this point she can't use her computer! Which I find absolutely ridiculous! Anyhow - is there any way to add another local account or user account on windows 8 without "loggin in" so she can use her $500 computer she paid for?
