Antivirus: Windows Defender, Disabled
My Window 8.1 was working OK for 9 months and I lost my Indexing. I am advised to Recover back to factory settings and then reload my software. The fault is diagnosed as 'corrupt files' which can only be fixed by a full recovery. My question is: was the corruption caused by a MS upgrade as I read that this has happened? Any ideas please?
