remove microsoft outlook.com account from Windows 8

Hello,

We purchased 2 new desktop PCs and both came with Windows 8. Unfortunately I was not the one who set the new PCs up to get them working. The one who did set these up opted for the option of providing an outlook email on both PCs (I would not have done so). He actually used the same outlook.com email address for both computers. Now both comuters are "linked" when it comes to anything having to do with Microsoft; they share the same outlook.com email, browsing history from one computer shows up on the other, etc. It is quite annoying.

I tried but cannot figure out how to disassociate or remove the microsoft account from one computer while leaving it on the other. I don't want that on my PC. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I know I can create another user on my PC but that wouldn't remove the main outlook.com user. I want myself to be the only user and not have any microsoft outlook email associated with the computer if any way.

I miss XP.
