Hp Pointer keeos freezing!!

Hi all I have a windows 8 64 bit. I have a an hp Laptop Pavillion. Man I have tried everything I can think of in the pointer settings to fix this freezing problem it is diving me nuts.:eek:

Does anyone know how to stop this from occurring?
