I am having some extreme difficulty with the Nvidia 740m graphics card in my Toshiba satellite laptop i purchased around a year ago. I have attached some images showing the Nvidia control panel preview window which shows the problems with said GPU. Upon loading any application with the Nvidia graphics card as the preferred processor flickering squares visible in the attached images form in the window, this goes on for multiple seconds before the whole screen flickers and my Laptop either freezer or blue-screens. this results in my having to manually reboot it as if i leave it the laptop gets very hot.
To my knowledge this all started to occur when i updated to window 8.1 however this may only be coincidence. I have have updated drivers, uninstalled and deleted all Nvidia programs and data from my computer in an attempt to fix this problem. Nothing has worked so far.
Microsoft Windows 8.1
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.40GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 8.00 GB (7.87 usable)
Operating System: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
GPU: GeForce 740M
Driver version: 344.11
Appreciate any help possible
Cheers
